Network / Systems Administrator in Edmonton, Alberta

The primary function of the Intermediate Network/Server Analyst is to respond to clients technical concerns that come in to us from our client base while adhering to service level standards. The Intermediate Network/Server Analyst will work Tier 1 and Tier 2 service requests to resolution or escalate as required.

Duties will include:

  • Respond to core clients’ issues and requests in a timely manner;
  • Create service requests for new issues
  • Maintain service level goals for all Senior Network/Server Analysts;
  • Maintain internal policies and procedures;
  • Deliver superior customer skills to our clients;
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the core clients that they have been assigned to;
  • Attend all regular training and meetings as scheduled.

Skills/Qualifications:
Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study. Intermediate level understanding of Microsoft Server administration.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 drivers license;
  • Access to a vehicle;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • At least 2 years experience in a related field.
